St. Agatha Resort

Another year older, I thank God for this day!

We decided to have a celebration and family outing at St. Agatha Resort. The resort is located inside St. Agatha Homes at Sta. Rita, Guiguinto, Bulacan. I love this resort, the place is so lovely and relaxing. The water is so clean, there are lots of lifeguards, the whole place is clean including the restroom/shower room. I highly recommend this resort, best place to enjoy summer or enjoy the special day, like me enjoying my birthday at the pool! ^_^

St. Agatha Resort have a wave pool, kiddie pool, lap pool and jacuzzi.

I love the wave pool here, operated every hour for less than 30 minutes up to 7pm. Swimming is so much fun with a wave splashing on, you're surely enjoy it.

Switchfoot Live in Manila!

Switchfoot
Philsport Arena
April 30, 2011
Gen Ad

It was February 9 when I learned that "Switchfoot" will be here for a concert in Manila (again). I really want to see them live! But I'm still thinking twice 'coz I might go solo on this event. So until April 28, I still don't have ticket for this concert. Good thing a friend of mine wants to see them too, "I'm not going alone anymore" ~hehehe~. There you go, on the 29th of April I bought 3 Gen Ad tickets for this event. I can't wait to hear my old time favorite Switchfoot song "Dare you to Move".

April 30 was a hectic day for me!

My work sched is from 3am to 12 noon, I take a nap at the office until 2:30pm then I have to meet my friends to watch "THOR" at SM Megamall. The movie starts around 4pm and ended around 6pm, the concert time is 7:30pm (as it says on the tix). My two friends/companions, will just meet me at the venue. I'm so pressured with the time because it's my first time going in Philsport Arena, I'm not familiar with the place. I walked from SM Megamall to Edsa Central and ride PUJ with a signboard of "Binangonan", I ask the driver to drop me at "ULTRA". It's almost 7pm when I arrived, there are lots of people outside the venue. It's almost 8pm when they let us in the arena. I get annoyed because it says in the ticket that the concert time is 7:30pm, anyways I have to enjoy this night so I wouldn't rant anymore :)

Not a bad view from General Admission :)

the crowd!

It is already 8:30pm, the show has not yet started and me being impatient maybe I'm just so tired. But they turn off the lights, it's a sign that the show will start... and yes it was started with a front act band... IMAGO. They just perform 3 songs, I know this band but I'm not a big fan. :)

Imago

Finally the real show will start... dim the lights.....Jon Foreman appears! Starting the show with the song "The Sound" from the album "Hello Hurricane". The crowd go crazy, all the mono-blocks chair in the VIP area was wipe out and a mosh pit was created!!!! Haha that was so great! Wish I was there at the VIP too :)

Next song is "Stars" from the album "Nothing is Sound"

Third song is "GONE", I didn't capture any video of it, I'm busy watching :) I love this song!
Life is more than money
Time was never money
Time was never cash,
Life is still more than girls
Life is more than hundred dollar bills
And roto-tom fills

Life's more than fame and rock and roll and thrills
All the riches of the kings
End up in wills we got information in the information age
But do we know what life is
Outside of our convenient Lexus cages

Next song is "Bullet Soul", one of my fave song in "Hello Hurricane" album.

Followed by "Your Love is a Song". It is very melancholic song, oh I love Jon's voice!

Then "FREE"

Next is "Always" from Hello Hurricane album.

 Followed by "Awakening"

Next is "Meant to Live"

Another song from Hello Hurricane album "Mess of Me"

This next song is one of my old time favorite "Learning to Breathe", reminiscing "A Walk to Remember".

Followed by "This is Home"

This song "We Are One Tonight" is one of the most epic performance of the night! Wherein Jon Foreman went down the stage and go to the ringside area and walk to the railing, I was like "whoah, what's he's doing", looks like he really enjoyed the show, so he wants to be with the crowd! That was really awesome!

They went out, so people thought it's over, but I knew it's not yet over, they haven't sing "Hello Hurricane" yet. The crowd shout for "MORE" "MORE", of course they will be back. :)

ENCORE

Next is another old school song, from "A Walk to Remember" OST "Only Hope" , I love Jon's voice so much!

This is "Hello Hurricane Tour" so the next song is "Hello Hurricane"! Jon gets the Fedora cap from a fan and wears it, lucky fan huh. :)

The last song is "Dare you to Move"! Jon gets the video cam of a fan, another lucky fan! They ended the show with a final bow!

Great show! Amazing band! I did enjoy this concert, Jon Foreman MOVED me! :)
