 Finally!!! Been waiting for this big event, THE SMASH PROJECT 2012 featuring THE CAB, COBRA STARSHIP, DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL AND THE USED!

Since January I already marked this date on my calendar "March 8, 2012", I'm expecting a hell yeah night of rock and roll at the big dome!

It was almost 7pm when we arrived at Smart Araneta Coliseum, at the front gate some are selling merchandise of the bands, selling CDs and T-shirts. Then we went inside, our seat is Patron 112 (row D seat 3). Patron is not yet full at that time,though there are quite people already on the front stage (Patron standing), the show will start at 8pm. A lot of people on General Admission area and Upper box ^^

Before the front act starts, I saw Miggy and Mong of Chicosci at Patron standing area, we also saw Gabby of Urbandub, guitarist of Typecast and just sitting in front of us are the drummer and guitarist of Slapshock.

These local bands are so great! I like Chicosci's performance of PARIS. Miggy looks so young, I couldn't imagine that he is already 30 years old, he looks like a college boy, well he's cute ^^

Then another front act, this time it's the International Indie Band from Malaysia "One Buck Short", they were good.

But what caught my attention is Chris Carrabba from the side of the stage watching this band. I quickly go there to take photos ^^

A lot of front acts right? Now here goes another front act, save the best for last front act is the band "SLAPSHOCK"

I enjoyed watching Splashock, they were awesome too. What a bunch of great local bands opening for The Smash Project 2012. So excited for the next hours....

I know The Cab will perform first, seeing Alex Marshall setting up his camcorder or phone to record their performance, I caught him and we quickly rush to the side of the stage to take a closer look at him, oh that gorgeous guy! I can' resist him, seriously!!! 

Now it's time for THE CAB to rock The Big Dome!

We caught Bert McCracken watching The Cab.

They seem to enjoy the crowd too, singing their songs!

I love The Cab! For almost two months listening to non-stop music of The Cab on my playlist, finally seeing them performing live was such a great experience! I'm a big fan of this band, I really love them so much!

I love Alex Marshall, so lucky that we were at the side of the stage because Alex Marshall was at that side too! Alex De Leon's voice is amazing! I hope they will come back here in Philippines to perform a solo concert, that would be great! Those two ALEX are so HOT! 

COBRA STARSHIP

Now for the second band Cobra Starship live on stage! I'm not a big fan of this band, but they were good! Gabe Saporta ripped his pants, he also says that he became the president of Philippines, he is a total performer, I'm starting to like them and enjoying their catchy music!

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL

Chris Carrabba get on the stage, a one man band! Well with that look that mesmerizes every single woman on the big dome! And when he smiles, oh no~ you will definitely melts! hahahaha ^^

I'm really into this guy, I don't know why, I simply love him! His voice is so great! His looks is dazzling as always, he is the best that night! A great solo performer of the night!

Chris says he met Manny Pacquiao, he even says that he can beat him, ~hehehe~ funny Chris Carrabba ^^

I'm so happy to see Chris Carrabba performs live, I missed him last time he visits Manila. When I learned that he will come back, I told to myself that I need to watch this concert no matter what ^^

I hope he comes back again with his band, Dashboard Confessional is a great band!

THE USED

Now time for some rockin' Manila, the last band to perform "THE USED"! Bert McCracken opens the show with the song "Take it Away". Here goes the large band banner, and so I say "So this is The Used concert", because they are the only band who have a banner on stage ^^ ~cool~

One lucky fan from Malaysia named Wong came to join The Used on stage singing "In Your Eyes", as Bert says "Dreams truly come true"

The Used definitely rocks Manila! creating a mosh pit, I even saw Miggy & Mong at the mosh pit ^^ ~cool~

Another great performance! The Used were amazing band! Bert McCracken smashing the night with a hell of performance!

Now for the encore, an EPIC encore! As Bert invites Chris on stage to perform "A Box Full of Sharp Objects", I was so happy again seeing Chris on stage, he was so cute , like a kid rocking with The Used! He even scream!!!! yay~ definitely the best performance of the night! 

My sister was so lucky to get the drumstick of Dan Whitesides after the encore! ^^

These guys show more beyond my expectations! They were the best!!!

BEST CONCERT for 2012 so far! Best rocking concert of 2012 Smash Project 2012! Thanks to Dayly Entertainment for bringing these best bands! I hope they will continue to bring best bands like this! 

MEET & GREET: Dashboard Confessional, The Cab & The Used

The SMASH PROJECT 2012 performers THE CAB, THE USED and CHRIS CARRABBA of DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL held their CD Signing at SM Skydome North Edsa on March 7, 2012

I'm so thankful to Dayly Entertainment for bringing these great bands, what a great summer rocking MANILA!

It was early January when we learned that these guys will come in Manila, I can't believe that a set of great bands will come to perform for one night, that would be awesome!

Then a few days before the concert, I saw on Dayly Entertainment fanpage that these guys will be having a CD signing at SM Skydome! Yeah~ cool! Finally we will get a chance to meet the bands!

Of course the CD Signing is not free ^_^ You have to buy the album, you know the drill :) Odyssey plays a big part here selling CDs of The Cab, Dashboard Confessional and Pre-sale CD for The Used.

Well that's the simplified mechanics for this event, buy a CD/s and meet your favorite band/s! So simple right, but if you buy 3 CDs (The Cab, Dashboard Confessional & The Used), you'll be on a priority lane and get a chance to meet all these bands.

Of course I was so excited to meet & greet these guys, at first I only bought "The Cab - Symphony Soldier" CD, and my sister Tina bought The Cab & The Used CD. As the mall opens at 10am, Tina was there already to buy our CDs, early bird right? ^_^

The meet and greet was supposedly start at 4pm but it almost started at around 6pm, well it's okay for me to wait, the moment I saw THE CAB, my energy went UP!!! adrenaline rush!!! ALEX MARSHALL was so HOT!! He's a total hottie and kinda look like Zach Efron ^^ (do you guys agree?)

Then, dazzling "CHRIS CARRABBA" came to the stage too, I was like "woaahhh, he was super gwapo", I don't know where to look and where to point my camera LOL, so starstruck by these gorgeous guys! Seriously!!!

After a few words from Chris Carabba, here goes Bert McCracken of The Used with his fellow band mates, which makes the crowd go crazy too, The Used got a lots of fan too. So happy to see this guys, just on my way home I was listening to my The Used playlist and at that moment I was actually seeing them, yeah it was amazing! ^^

I guess the whole SM Skydome was filled with screaming girls, go wild with the gorgeous members of The Cab and the always dazzling Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional and of course some girls like Bert McCracken too, my sister Tina likes her too ^^ But of course the guys were there for The Used! I know they were hardcore fans of this band! I admit there were really great, Bert voice was amazing! I love their songs.

The CD signing/meet & greet began, while we are so busy taking pictures the lines went so long already ^^ But the priority lane was not partly taken, only few people avail that lane of buying the 3 CDs to get the priority lane stub. We need to get that stub, we already have 2 CDs of The Cab (because we both want to meet & greet the band) and Tina have The Used CD, so we only need Dashboard Confessional CD! The moment I saw Chris Carrabba I told to myself that I need to meet & greet him, so no thinking twice I told my sister to go out and buy the CD, and so we get 1 priority stub! yeah ~ what a brilliant idea, we can use it but not at the same time, at least we won't be queuing to the long line, which is really really really good ^^

My sister first used the stub for "The Used", she told me that Bert smells beer ~hahaha~ I guess he's a little bit alcoholic or he really was ^^ Odyssey only give a poster for their pre-sale The Used CD, it wasn't release yet, they can claim the CD on March 27.

Dan Whitesand throw the pen, I was lucky to catch it ^^ his drumstick was catch by my sister Tina during The Smash Project concert ^^ We were so lucky right ^^

It's my turn to use the priority stub, I lined first to THE CAB, I'm so nervous! ~hahaha! Fan girling running to my veins ^^ Alex DeLeon was the first to sign the CD cover, he was a good looking guy with a beanie ^^ and then I asked him if I could hug him? he says "sure", I'm so shy, he made me so happy by that hug ^^

Sitting beside him was Joey Thunder, he just signed the CD cover, because I still in shock of seeing Alex DeLeon, I didn't bother Joey Thunder to give me a hug ^^ I couldn't find a word to say something to these gorgeous guys! so speechless!! After Joey, the two guys sitting beside him also signed the CD cover, they were guitarist & drummer during The Cab Tour. Then finally to my ultimate crush on The Cab.... ALEX MARSHALL! He was standing while signing, he was so gorgeous!!! After he signed, I asked him a hug, and he hugged me so tight and quite long for me too, I'm so *kilig* , I don't want to leave Alex Marshall! Can you take me home ~hahahaha~ He smells so good, really good ^^ I love Alex Marshall!

My sister Tina was so lucky to have a hugged and kissed by Alex Marshall, she even hugged Joey Thunder ^^ 

So it's my turn again, this time to Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional! Approaching Chis, I handed the CD cover, again I was speechless, then I say "can I have a hug?" , he says "sure", then I hugged him! Then I told him if can we take a photo (Tina was waiting for it), yeah I have a blurry photo with Chris Carrabba, Tina was so nervous to take a photo ^^

After that I didn't leave yet and asked him a kiss ^^ , and he kissed me! ~HAHAHA~ so happy again! He was so kind, he smells good too, he's gorgeous! I can't explain anymore, this is so much of my fan girling ^^

This event is one of my happiest night ever! I'm totally freaking out with so much happiness, I can't take my smile, not only me but my sister Tina too! We leave SM Skydome with full of happiness! ^^
