Chili's - Greenbelt

Eat out again with my BFF! We will be celebrating Lhuz's birthday, an advance birthday bash! It's April 18, and tomorrow is her precious day. Strolling at Glorietta and Greenbelt to choose a place to eat and finally decided to dine at Chili's (what a long walk from Glorietta to Greenbelt ^^).

It's our first time here at Chili's, of course we would like to try their best seller. They offer us Grilled Baby Back Ribs(910php) with add-ons Garlic and Lime Grilled Shrimp(225php) w/ rice and Grilled Shrimp Alfredo Pasta(525 php) with add-ons Garlic and Lime Grilled Shrimp(225php), Freshly Sauteed Mushroom(175php) and Crispy Bacon(75php).

The staff overheard that it was Lhuz's Birthday, then he said that there will be surprise for her ^^ and after we eat, we were waiting for the surprise thingy. Then these group of staff came with a tambourine and sing a Happy Birthday! ha~ha we were laughing and clapping!

Chili's food is superb! It tastes so good with a big serving, I love the pasta, so cheesy! yummy!!! Thumbs up for Chili's! Very satisfied with the food and the serving! Thanks to Toyei for the the treat! ^^ We enjoyed it so much!!! ^^

Lunch at Green Tomato - Shangri La Mall

Something new! It's not about my travel, nor about the concerts I've been to, well I've decided to broaden the scope of this blog! This would be my first review about foods/restos ^^ and soon to blog about anything! ^_^

Yes it's Thursday date with my sister Tina! It's our second time here at Green Tomato located at the 6th floor of Shangri La Mall in Mandaluyong. I just learned about Green Tomato thru a deals website (Groupon), I bought a pizza deal which is almost half the price, I love pizza and Tina loves it too :)

On our first visit we ordered "Carbonara", shared serving (big serving!) that cost 470php, it tastes so good! Love it! And for our pizza it's "Mighty Meaty Pizza", I also love their thin crust pizza! Delicious!!! ^^

Then on our next visit, we ordered "BLT" for salad, "Sausage and Tomato" for the pasta and "Pepperoni Pizza" for the pizza ^^ We used again the voucher for the pizza it only cost 125php, regular price is 280php.

I enjoyed the food, except for the pasta ^^ not my typical pasta, it cost 270php for a single serving The salad is good, so fresh! Yummy! ^^ It cost 250php, just right for it's big serving. Of course the pizza cost 125php (thru Groupon), which is good for 2 persons. I love their pizzas!

Thumbs up for Green Tomato! Thin crust pizza is the best! The place is just small but the service is good ^^ We'll surely dine here again!

TAKING BACK SUNDAY Live in Manila

It's Friday the 13th! Something good will happen tonight! Yeah it's Taking Back Sunday concert! I almost missed this concert, thanks to "Cash Cash Pinoy" for the great deal, tickets were discounted for almost 1000php! I bought 2 silver tickets for me and my concert companion/my sister "Tina", she's my best buddy when in comes to this stuff! ^^

I still have a hang over from last night's meet and greet, too excited again to see them, but this time to perform live, singing my favorite Taking Back Sunday songs!

It was almost 8pm when we entered the Skydome, security was so strict checking belongings, DSLRs were prohibited on this event, as well as food and drinks!

The show begins with a front act Imbue No Kudos at 8pm, I do not know this band, not even familiar to any of their songs.

Next front act is the band Typecast (same front act from Smash Project 2012), lucky band huh ^^

Really lucky band, I caught Adam Lazarra watching them perform, woah! John Nolan and Eddie Reyes also watch them from back stage! Adam even claps for this band Typecast! Good job!

It's almost past 9pm, the most awaited band! TAKING BACK SUNDAY!

So happy to hear them live, most of the songs played are my favorites! Adam came back before the encore with a cigarette! It looks like Taking Back Sunday surely enjoyed the crowd! ^^

Looks like Adam is in pain, he was amazing! I adore him for performing here in Manila, this man really deserves a big hand of applause!!! Good job Adam Lazarra!!! Good Job for Taking Back Sunday!

I hope Taking Back Sunday will come back again, of course Adam should be fully recovered from injury at that time, I want to see him enjoy the crowd with his signature microphone swinging!

Meet & Greet: Taking Back Sunday

Meet and Greet: TAKING BACK SUNDAY

I love Taking Back Sunday, I love Adam Lazarra! He's one of my favorite vocalist, of course TBS is also one of my fave band! I'm so happy that I would see him up close! Be able to greet him, say "hi" ^^ I'm so excited!!!

For this event if you are a ticket holder you can have a stub for the signing/meet & greet TBS, or you can buy their latest CD (Taking Back Sunday album) that Odyssey was selling for 500php.

We came early to the venue to get a stub, they are also selling TBS T-shirt official merchandise for 800php, the bass guitarist of Typecast "Chi" was on that area too.

Hours past and lots of TBS fans waiting at the venue, it was full too! At first I thought only few will came, but there are lots of people who came ^^ Great! 

I'm kinda sleepy, bored and tired waiting but when Taking Back Sunday came my adrenaline rush and my heart beats so fast, I'm so nervous!!! Finally TBS!!!

But seeing Adam Lazarra with an underarm crutches, so sad that he was still injured, salute to this man who came all the way from Australia to be here in the Manila!!!

After meeting them, I'm excited for tomorrow's concert! Friday the 13th madness at SM Skydome for Taking Back Sunday concert! Hoping for a hell~yeah night to remember!
