DAY 3: TEMPLE TOUR AND MBK
Temple Tour!
Visiting Thailand's Temple is a must , your tour wouldn't be complete if you did not visit one of the famous temples in Bangkok.
THE GRAND PALACE
Entrance fee: 500 Baht
Opens daily from 8:30am to 3:30pm
With proper dress code.
How to get here:
From Saladaeng Station we head to Saphan Taksin Station, then walk to the boat terminal.
We join the Chao Phraya ferry with tour guide, and paid 40 Baht for one way ride. The regular ferry only cost 15 baht.
BEWARE of the scammers in this area, don't be fooled with their offers and just go straight to the ferry terminal. There are lots of scammers in Bangkok, so take extra careful ^.^
Just beside The Grand Palace is Wat Pho, also known as the Temple of Reclining Buddha.
WAT PHO
Entrance Fee 100 Baht with free 1 bottled water
Opens daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm
BEWARE: Scammer alert again, don't get fooled when someone approach you and says that "Wat Po" is closed. They will lure you and suggest to go to another temple. WAT PHO is open everyday, so again be extra careful and don't believe those scammers.
The image of reclining Buddha is 15 m high and 43 m long with his right arm supporting the head with tight curls on two box-pillows of blue, richly encrusted with glass mosaics.
It is said that by dropping coins inside these bowl will bring good fortune ^.^
