South Korea Again - Day 6 (Ihwa Village and Naksan Park)

Annyeong Haseyo!!!

Already on day 6! Time flies so fast.....

Okay, our first destination for today is NAKSAN PARK and IHWA VILLAGE, for Korean Drama addicts like me, this place has been featured and promoted in "ROOFTOP PRINCE" and in Korean Variety program 1 Night, 2 Days.

Directions:
Hyehwa Station (Subway line 4 , Exit 2), walk in 10 minutes.

Way to Naksan Park.... lovely trees ^^

Prepare yourself to walk uphill, as you can see the way to Naksan Park is so steep!

Mostly seen residential area in Korean Dramas

I just spotted some ahjummas preparing to make KIMCHI! Well Koreans love KIMCHI, I love Korea but I don't love KIMCHI that much ~kekekeke~

This was featured in the Korean Drama ROOFTOP PRINCE episode 15 wherein Yong Tae Yong was tailing Park Ha ^^

We came here early, we only encounter few tourists and some group of students at the park, I guess they are experimenting/observing the plants there. ^^

Ihwa Village was also featured in the Korean variety program "1 Night 2 Days" ep 171, wherein Lee Seunggi got a mission.

The angel mural which became popular because of the said program was removed, well residents of Ihwa Village complain about it because lots of people came to take pictures day and night, some were so noisy and it disturbs people in the village!

South Korea Again - Day 4

Annyeong Haseyo Chingus!

Today is Sunday, fourth day in Korea! Our first destination is Myeongdong Cathedral, we wanted to hear Mass, but when we arrived there is no mass yet, dunno if we came early or what. So we just stay for a while and pray.

Korean Drama addicts: Myeongdong Cathedral was seen in He's Beautiful starring Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Hye.

Since we failed to attend the Mass, I decided to visit another Church which also featured in Korean Drama "BIG".

YOUNGNAK CHURCH

This church can be seen on episode 1 of Korean Drama "BIG" starring Gong Yoo (Coffee Prince) and Lee Min Jung (Boys Over Flower).

So happy to see the place, can't imagine they filmed here. Of course I can't help myself and keep looking around, we even entered the church and found out that it's not a Catholic church. ^^

Yes, YOUNGNAK Church is a Presbyterian Church.

Next, we want to experience Hanbok wearing, so we went to KTO at Jonggak Station. Unfortunately it was not available, it will resume on December and they advise us to visit KTO at M Plaza (5th floor) located in Myeongdong.
