Bali, Indonesia: Day 1

Selamat Pagi!

Touchdown Bali

Arrived in Ngurah Rai International Airport (also known as Denpasar International Airport) around 8 'o clock in the morning.

Outside the airport, taxi drivers will approach you to drive on your hotel or have a tour. But these taxi drivers are not metered taxi,  expect a higher rate than the usual metered taxi.  Anyways, its part of traveling.

Our hotel is only 20 minutes away from the airport, and the cab fare is 150,000 IDR. Okay next time we'll surely get a metered taxi.

It's too early to check in, so after confirming our booking , we left our luggage and walked to a nearby coffee shop.

Went back  to our hotel and our room is already ready! yey glad that we didn't wait till 2pm :)

Our first day in Bali is free day, just checkin' out Kuta Beach^^

KUTA BEACH

We took a cab to reach Kuta Beach, fare is around 35,000 IDR.

Emote in Bali ^^

Kuta Beach is considered as the most famous beach is Bali. This beach is also known as "Sunset Beach". I described this beach as very crowded beach!

The Crowded Beach ^^

Sunset in Kuta Beach

Roaming around Kuta Beach: Vendors are everywhere, they offer massage, drinks, surfing lesson, etc.

It's so funny that people in Bali didn't recognize us as Filipino, not even once in our 4 days of stay. Most of them thought that we are local Indonesian, and in Kuta Beach some greeted us "Annyeong Haseyo, Korean?", some says "Konnichiwa", and "Ni Hao" ....  ^^

Near Kuta beach you can also enjoy shopping your Bali Souvenirs, and eat at some local Balinese restaurant. We didn't try though and just eat in KFC, just craving for chicken and rice ^^

Now on our way back to hotel, we took a cab and it is not metered taxi and paid 50,000 IDR.
