Hong Kong Day 4 - Avenue of the Stars and The Peak

August 26

This is our last day in Hong Kong! How time flies, vacation would be over soon :(

We woke up early again, as we like to accomplish the itinerary I made and make sure to visit all the tourist spots here in Hong Kong. We don't want to miss a thing, TIME IS GOLD! ^^

I think is was only past 7am when we headed to the Avenue of the Stars, which is a walking distance from Golden Crown Guesthouse. We just go down the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui and exit to J - Avenue of the Stars, we walked for about 10 minutes ^^ So be prepared, it was kinda tiring too.

The weather is so good! I thought it is going to rain but it didn't :)

The stores were still close, I've read in some forums that it will open around 3pm. There are only few people  visiting the Avenue of The Star because it was only past 7am :) We also see some locals jogs at the area.

The main attraction on this park is the Bruce Lee statue and his star.

And of course the famous Jacky Chan's star!

I love this place, it was so clean with clean fresh air near the harbor ^^

Our next stop "The Peak", we go back to the nearest MTR (Tsim Tsa Tsui) and go to Central Station, and look for the "Peak Tram", it was a long walk and we just follow some group of tourist to reach the place.

We bought a round trip ticket to The Peak tram (40HKD).

The way to The Peak was elevated and too high, we enjoyed the view and beauty of Hong Kong!

Finally reaching The Peak Tower, Madame Tussauds also known as The Wax Museum was located at the tower, it is not yet open when we get there. We only take some pics on the area, the weather is kinda gloomy.

They say that it's nice to see this place at night, but due to our tight schedule we have no choice but to visit The Peak on early morning ^^

After "The Peak" my sister and I  went back to Golden Crown 'coz it's time to check out ^^

We leave our luggage in the guesthouse as we will be heading to Mongkok to buy pasalubongs ^^

On our way to the airport, riding the Airport Bus which is very comfortable specially if you have big luggage and they have free wifi! ^^

At the Hong Kong Airport

Now it's time to go, we will be missing HK and Macau, I enjoyed this vacation with my sister Tina. We promise we will come back here ^^
