Day 1 - March 16(Sunday)
We arrived at Baler around 7am, Ate Evelyn fetch us at the terminal with the two trike for our day tour. Arriving at NiƱa's Transient, our room is not yet available ('coz it's too early), but she offered a room so we can rest before our day tour.
BALER DAY TOUR
Before the tour start we have our breakfast at the rolling store, we only spent 60php each, that also includes breakfast for our tour guide/driver.
Few steps from the rolling store is Museo De Baler, our first stop.
MUSEO DE BALER
Baler is not only a place for surfing, this province is rich in history, visit this place to know more about Baler.

HANGING BRIDGE
Our second stop is this scary hanging bridge :)
We did not cross the bridge because of light rain and I can't do it because there are some holes and yeah I'm kinda scared too ^_^

The rain pours again when we left Hanging Bridge. Off to third stop > Ermita Hill.
ERMITA HILL
This plateau serves as get-away place when Baler was swept out by tidal wave on December 27, 1735. The photo below believes that this family survived, climbing to this hill.
Ermita Hill (Open to Public from 5am to 7pm)
Ready to climb Ermita Hill
Was it worth to climb Ermita Hill? well let's see ....

Next stop: Mother Falls
MOTHER FALLS
This is very popular in Baler, a lot of blogs about this falls and it was also featured in "Byahe ni Drew". I've read that you have to trek for 30 minutes to reach Mother Falls. Am I ready? I think so? :)
Another "buwis buhay" adventure for us. We did having a hard time trekking to this lovely falls. But it is really worth it! Indeed!!!
Amazing Mother Falls!
Another challenge is dipping on the water, woah it's soooooo COLD!!!!!!!!
Another "buwis buhay shot"
After enjoying the cold water, we bid goodbye to Mother Falls, it is already past 5 in the afternoon and we still need to trek back for 30 minutes, we don't want to walk in the dark :) It was also our last stop, Kuya Alden told us that we can still go to another falls (I forgot the name), but we are so tired and want to rest.
We back to transient house and had dinner afterwards at the famous "eat all you can" restaurant in Baler "JERRY'S CHAN PLACE", well I'm not posting any photos ('coz we don't have any), as to my previous post, WE DID NOT ENJOY THE FOOD here.
To sum up our first day, I LOVE BALER! This is place is awesome! Rich in culture, beautiful places with good people. :)
